Kirtan Meditation

Kirtan Meditation

Kirtan is a meditation practice of Bhakti Yoga, that uses traditional Indian instruments and devotional voice to create a pure sound that goes straight to the heart. It is considered by Saints and Sages through thousands of years to be the easiest and most accessible way of entering a meditative state. It is call-and- response chanting that effortlessly calls upon the Divine energy, which serve to quiet the mind, remove obstacles and bring you back to the centre of your divine being.

Through absorption in the divine sound, the divine names, the eternal love that lies within each of our souls can awaken. By chanting the different names of the Divine One, by calling out to the Divine, we naturally reflect upon and strengthen our loving connection with the eternal One.

All of these compositions are written by Jagadguruttam Shri Kripaluji Maharaj. He has composed thousands of chantings from simple to more complex; all with the aim to engage our mind to immerse in meditation of Hari Guru, to enable our mind to go beyond the material, Maya, and absorb into the spiritual, Yogmaya.

Meditation is a practice that opens the door to self-discovery and inner peace.

Kirtan meditation is a call and response practice, steeped in tradition.
It offers a sanctuary in which one can find solace amid the chaos of daily life. It encourages mindfulness and instills a sense of harmony, connection, and spiritual potential.
