Peace and Calm during Covid-19

Hello.

I hope you are managing ok considering how much the coronavirus is changing the world’s patterns, effecting the way we live – of social distancing, of having to stay at home most of the day, of going out only for exercise or for essential items, or having to go to work yet required to keep distance from your colleagues, of being fearful that if I touch this or that, will I get the virus, etc. These really are challenging times.

But they also have benefit.

It’s also an ideal time for you to introspect, to learn more about yourself. If you utilise the time given to you to do that, you’ll be able to better manage how you relate with the people around you, and most importantly improve how you feel about yourself, and so on.

I spent many years in India learning the value of spiritual wisdom. I was taught personally by a great legendary Master, on how to genuinely self-improve. I will pass the fruit of this experience and knowledge on to you, making this is a really good opportunity for you benefit likewise.

The knowledge he taught me is accessible to everyone including you. To facilitate this, I have begun streaming live online meditation sessions on Tuesday mornings, and short philosophical talks on Saturday mornings – and I invite you to join me so you can experience the inspiring wisdom that has come out of the East, and learn how to meditate. No matter the level of your experience, these sessions will help.

In these sessions I will explain the importance of your mind and how to care for it. The Bhagavad Gita, for instance, puts so much emphasis on your mind that it expresses, “Your thinking can either elevate you or devolve you.” Such is the power of thought – it truly can bring you joy, or suffering and harm. It is therefore essential to understand the subtlety of the mind.

Countless men and women through the ages, through meditation and understanding, have been able to strengthen the vitality of their being, develop clarity in their thoughts, and bring peace and joy into their life. And this is what you can do too.

So, on Tuesday mornings at 7am I will lead wisdom infused meditation. On Saturday mornings, I will give a philosophical talk. These two programs combined, over the next few weeks, will help you in this challenging period of Coronavirus, enabling you to maintain harmony with those around you, to feel peace and joy with yourself, and to learn about the spiritual significance of your being.
